Summer Schools

Raasay Summer School Courses

These string courses provide string instrument coaching for youngsters of 8 - 14 in a holiday fun atmosphere at Raasay House.

There are string orchestra rehearsals interspersed with sectional rehearsals and aural training.

During the afternoons there are also social activities many of which take place outdoors including a beach barbecue.

One evening we have an informal concert, which gives our young players the opportun- ity to perform in a friendly, supportive atmosphere.

The course concludes with a concert performance of all the work studied during the week.
